Ready to capture life with your new baby?

Dallas-Fort Worth Newborn Photographer

After photographing more than 500 newborns since 2011, I have fine-tuned my ability to capture the sweetest and most authentic moments in a comfortable, relaxed session.

Bringing a new baby home is about so much more than posing a sleepy baby in a wrap. It's about celebrating this special season of life that is fleeting.

The way your newborns tiny hand wraps around your finger. The way they watch you with a quiet intensity. The way your baby is soothed by your touch.

creating images that remind you of this special season

Let's capture your newborn's story

The way I capture newborns, in a nutshell: don't expect to find any baby-in-a-basket style photos here. Instead, I jump right in and capture the connections, the relationships, and the moments that matter.

Whether you are a first-time parent or already have a gaggle of children, I am dedicated to telling your family's story.

It doesn't matter if your home is calm and quiet, or if your crowd is on the rowdy side; your newborn session will reflect your family's unique connections.

When hiring a photographer, it's important that our visions align, so please peruse my website, galleries, and Instagram feed to ensure we fit well together! We will be spending a lot of time together, and it is important that you jive with me and also love my style.

Not all photographers are created equal.

See if I’m your girl

Believe it or not, newborn photographers book out pretty early - like, pee-on-the-stick early. Don’t wait until your baby is born to reach out to me. Once you have decided that I am your girl, let’s get your date on the calendar!

Don’t hesitate to book early

Get on the calendar

Once your date is officially reserved, I’ll send over a session prep guide and wardrobe ideas to help you prepare for your session. I’m also more than happy to serve as a resource for outfit selection, hair/makeup recommendations, or any newborn help you may need.

Now the fun begins

You’re Booked

The week before your session, I will touch base to confirm that you feel confident with your wardrobe decisions and address any last-minute questions or concerns you may have.

Your new baby is here

Baby Time

It's finally here: the day I get to capture the magic of your newest addition! Just know that I’m as excited to capture your baby's first moments as you are. Sit back and relax - this is going to be fun.

I hope you’re as excited as I am

Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Anna V.

I hired Sabrina for my third and final newborn’s photo shoot. With three boys in under three years, I was beyond exhausted and frankly dreading the entire thing. It was just one more thing I had to check off my list. But then I met Sabrina and she lit up the entire morning with fun and laughter. She captured the most incredible moments between me and my boys. I am forever grateful and I’ll certainly use her again and again and again.

I am forever grateful.

How old does my newborn need to be for our session?

No. 1

I know that the rumor around the neighborhood is that your baby needs to be 7-10 days old for a perfect newborn session, but that just isn’t true! One of the things I LOVE most about a lifestyle session is that I actually prefer your baby to be closer to 4-8 weeks old because then we get the best of both worlds: capturing your baby asleep and awake! There are a lot of benefits to photographing your newborn session a bit older: You and your spouse are in a bit of a routine, you have had more time to recover from birth, your baby has put on a little bit of weight AND your older children have adjusted to a new member of the family. Trust me, 4-8 weeks is the sweet spot for your session!

Everyone is more comfortable at home! Plus, you likely worked hard on a nursery, and an in-home session gives you the opportunity to show it off. AND, in the event of a newborn mess, there are plenty of clothes to change baby (or parents) into. Home is just so comfortable and easy.

First of all, that likely won’t happen. I have photographed hundreds of newborns, and that has happened only a handful of times. Babies want to be held, fed, and kept clean, and when we photograph your session at home, it is easy to make sure all of those things happen.

Here's the deal: most mamas don’t, and that is totally normal and part of the process. I've been photographing newborns and their parents for more than a decade, and one of my jobs is to ensure that you are photographed in a flattering way. The other thing to consider is that you will likely be holding a baby most of the session, and that little bundle does wonders for covering your midsection.

Absolutely! Your baby doesn’t need a gorgeous, magazine-worthy nursery to live in and be loved. Regardless of what yours looks like, I think it is very special and important to shoot part of your session in the space.

They probably will be! And that is 100% okay with me! Honestly, I prefer a little chaos over perfectly behaved kiddos. Just leave the kids to me and love them through the mess. The best advice I can give you is to set your expectations accordingly and know that they will be wild and then be prepared to laugh your way through the session.

No. I believe that a newborn is most natural and comfortable in the arms of their parents; therefore, that is how we spend most of the session. I will definitely capture solo shots of just the baby, but I do require parent participation during the session.

I do! I have photographed lots of twins and even a set of newborn triplets!
