Hi, I'm Sabrina.

I’m a photographer turned educator helping creative women build businesses that are profitable, sustainable, and full of purpose. Around here, you’ll find honesty, strategy, and permission to do things differently.

This session was from earlier in the year before the world shut down with a pandemic.

During this session, things were “normal”. I remember we talked about regular session things like, how they were adjusting to a 3rd child, newborn sleeping and eating habits, past sessions together and our plans for the rest of the year. We also spent a LOT of time talking about this precious girls INSANE birth story.

All you need to know is that she is a miracle and her arrival story is bonkers. Just bonkers.

But we didn’t discuss coronavirus.

We didn’t discuss masks.

I got to hug the big kids and hold the baby.

I stayed and talked longer than I should have.

Looking back on it now after so much has changed, it almost feels like it was a dream to have that much freedom. I miss those freedoms. I desperately miss hugging people outside of my household. I am such a hugger.

And I definitely miss holding newborns. I miss it so much. I honestly think that whenever I am able to hold a newborn again, I might cry.

Anyways, all this to say, things might not be normal but I am super grateful to be shooting at all. I am thankful for masks and hand sanitizer because they allow me to safely come into your home to capture the life that is still happening despite a pandemic.

If you are interested in what precautions I am taking and what to chat more about a session at home, feel free to shoot me an email to begin the conversation.
