Miraculous | Dallas Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

In almost 10 years of photographing newborns, I have met a lot of brand new babies. Most of them are precious little healthy nuggets who arrived into the world with little more than a textbook experience. A few of them had rocky arrivals that make their stories a bit more dramatic. A few of my Mother’s had tricky pregnancies and had to endure bedrest, hospital stays and unexpected emergency csections to bring their healthy baby into the world. I have even had a few experiences where it seemed almost everything went wrong and yet, in the end, a healthy baby still blessed the world with their arrival.

In all these years, I have met quite a few rainbow babies- those precious angels that arrive miraculously after an unexpected and tragic loss of an older sibling. Of course, I celebrate all of my babies, but especially those rainbow babies that bring joy after a storm.

Yes, in almost ten years, I have experienced just about every kind of newborn welcoming there is. Until this baby girl.

Her story is the most miraculous and God-filled story I have ever experienced. What her Mom went through in order to bring her to this world is literally scientific magic mixed with a dose of God’s miraculous power. Her case is a win for science and will LITERALLY be studied in years to come.

When these new parents chose ME to photograph them with their new daughter, I was floored. What an honor to be asked to document such a special experience. During their session, we chatted and shared our experiences. Listening to the details of their story was like I was in the presence of God. I had tears and goosebumps multiple times.

God couldn’t have chosen a more perfect family to bestow his miracle upon. I love photographing all newborns, but this one was definitely extra special and one that I won’t soon forget.
