Worth the Wait | Fort Worth Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

This baby boy was one of my first missed sessions when the 2020 pandemic forced the country into quarantine. To say I was bummed would be a massive, MASSIVE understatement.

This Momma was so calm and laid back about the entire thing. I know she was extremely disappointed too but there was literally nothing that we could do about it. During all of the shut downs, I have felt so deeply sad for so many people missing out on huge milestones, especially all the new Moms. I wrote more about it here.

As much as I hated postponing the session, y’all it was totally worth the wait.

I have photographed this family before and I knew I loved them. But this session was just SO good. I don’t know if it was because I missed shooting so much. Or because I was finally out of my own house. Or because this family just rocks so much. Okay, it was probably all of those things combined.

Whatever the reason, I will take it.

I will sing this same song for all of my days: Newborn sessions at home are absolutely magical. They are relaxed and fun and simple and natural and so EASY. I love them to the very depth of my soul.
