How my Mentorship Experience Helped me Double my Business | Photography Mentor

Meet Mackenzie Coronado and read her experience as a mentee below.

I took Sabrina’s mentorship program back in 2016. I had been in business for almost a year and every day I had so many questions- business-related questions, photography-related questions, questions around client relationships.

I wanted to know how I could best serve my clients but didn’t know how to do that. It was so nice to be able to sit down with Sabrina and ask all of my questions. She made me feel like there were no silly questions. Oftentimes she told me “I had that same question. Here’s what I did. This is what worked for me and this is what didn’t work for me.”

I truly value the business success I have had that has directly come from the ideas that she gave me.

Also, it was really nice to see her in action. I was able to go to a newborn shoot with her, and I was able to see that the second she walks in the room she has this calm composed demeanor about her.  She exudes confidence and I genuinely think that’s what I was lacking.

I would come into a client’s home and feel flustered because there were so many unknowns: the light situation, the number of kids, if there was a wiggly toddler, if the baby needed to be fed, the list goes on and on.

I wasn’t confident, so seeing Sabrina walk into the house and be able to honor the experience and honor being in these people’s homes and being welcomed into their homes and to also see her create magic with any situation was very powerful

She just made it so fun and engaging. It wasn’t just sitting in front of a camera forcing them to smile- it was truly an experience. I think that’s why she gets the images that she does, and she creates the moments that she does.

I learned so much by being able to see Sabrina do what she does best and I think that my business is where it is today because of that.

I doubled my business this last year and Sabrina helped me do that.

She helped me set the groundwork for my business and my brand. She helped me create goals, and she helped me create values within my business and my brand.

If you are a photographer and you are on the fence and like me, you have so many questions and you just need someone to talk through them this is a mentorship program for you. Again, I doubled my business and I  think that you can do the same with Sabrina’s help.

I hope that one day you can get to a point in your business where you are so happy and encouraged. A point where you are crushing all of those goals that you have set for yourself. You can do it and Sabrina can help!
