Details | Fort Worth Lifestyle Maternity and Newborn Photographer

I met this sweet family when we photographed their maternity session late last summer. They were expecting baby #2 who was a gender surprise (which I LOVE).

It was August. In Texas. That means it was crazy hot and muggy but man, the sunset was gorgeous. On this particular evening we played outside, had fun and everything was picture perfect. And this family is so in love that they made my job really easy.

I enjoy getting the chance to meet clients before a newborn session. It gets the awkward introductions out of the way and by the time the baby arrives, and I walk into their home, I am an old friend. And I like feeling like an old friend:)

A couple months later I went to their home to capture the arrival of their new baby. A girl! We chatted about all things newborn and had a very fun morning. Big brother is in love with his sister and is so loving with her. I loved watching him fawn over her.

Probably my favorite part of the morning was hearing all about how the nursery came together. Most of the items in the space are family pieces or have strong meaning. Mom did an amazing job pulling together all the details. It is a gorgeous space for baby to grow.

If you are interested in a maternity or newborn session with me, I would love to hear from you here.
