Student Feature | Mallory Shelton Photography in Dallas

I first met Mallory about 4 years ago when she hired me for an in-person mentoring session. At the time, Mallory was ready to take her business to the next level and knew she needed a mentor to help her do that.

Since we met, I have LOVED watching her business grow. She has hired for me for various educational offerings over the years and even came to Reset Conference with me back in September! (We were roomies!) I love when work bleeds over into personal life and that is where Mallory and I are today. Seriously it makes my heart so happy.

In the 4 years since we have become friends, her business has gone from semi-part time to completely full time. (insert those praise hands here!) Yes, she left her corporate job and has made photography her full time job. The day she left her job I was seriously SO. DANG. PROUD. For real, I was having such a Mama Bear moment.

Mallory is a lifestyle family and newborn photographer in Dallas, Texas. She has such a clean and beautiful style that is just soothing to look at. On her website she describes her brand as authentic, joyful and natural and I think those words are a perfect description of how she captures young families.

One of Mallory’s specialties are what she calls “Heirloom Portraits”. They are the most perfect, quintessentially southern offering ever. Mallory offers Heirloom portraits several times a year and they always sell out so fast. Go hop on her mailing list so you can be notified of openings and availability.

Another thing that Mallory does really well is interior photography. This is something that is very obvious in the way that she photographs sessions at home. Everything is so styled and just dang lovely. If you love her light, clean and simple style, she is the perfect choice to capture your interior design work.
