Student Feature | Photography of Sarah Mae in Dallas

I first met Sarah when she enrolled in my course, The Organized Photographer. I got to know her through the weekly group zoom calls and let me tell you, she is an absolute doll.

At the time, Sarah was just starting her business and wanted to learn more about marketing, client communication and staying organized.

Since meeting Sarah, I have seen her step into the role of intentional business owner instead of just winging it. She has identified her ideal client and speaks to them directly through her marketing. Plus, she is making real strides in growing her wedding business!

Sarah is one of those rare gems that photographs both families and weddings and does both really well. If you are not a photographer, then you can’t appreciate how hard that is. Just trust me, most photographers can’t do both genres well.

One of Sarah’s mottos is, “beautifully candid images and fun photography”. And you can see that she really means it when you look at her work. Moments matter to her. Just read this excerpt from a story she tells on her homepage,

“When I saw her my breathe caught in my chest. She was radiant. “click” went my camera. Her dress was stunning and as she reached the top of the stairs there was an audible intake of breath as everyone saw her in all her magnificence. “click” I quickly turned to focus my camera on the groom. He was beaming. “click” His face said it all. He could not believe his luck, to have such an incredible women moving across the room to be married to him for all time. “click”.“

Can’t you just imagine that moment?!?! Gah. I love the story her words, and images, tell. So. Dang. Much.

If you are a bride in Dallas/Fort Worth, not only should you reach out to Sarah about her services, you HAVE to grab her FREE wedding day guide! I mean, planning a wedding is HARD, so why not get a little help from a professional in the industry. Amiright?

Sarah prides herself on her clients experience. She “continually strives to give her clients the opportunity—to pause, breathe, enjoy.” Y’all doesn’t that sound like a dream photo session experience?

I don’t care if you are hiring Sarah to capture your wedding or your family, “pause, breathe, enjoy” would be such an incredibly refreshing experience. If you have ever had a photo session of any kind before, you know exactly what I am talking about.
